Atos has annual revenues of more than €8,000,000,000 and 74,000 employees in 48 countries. MSL London was challenged with improving Atos’s reputation. We have developed a proactive media engagement strategy including creating and managing media contacts built up over the course of a ten year working relationship.

For the last year MSL London has been challenged to reinforce Atos’s reputation with its core media and to maximise its role as Worldwide IT Partner for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

MSL London has helped Atos manage its corporate reputation in the UK for nearly a decade.

Results include:

  • Repeated, positive coverage about Atos’ role in delivering the Olympics has been secured in all major titles.
  • Over the first six months of 2012, Atos’ share of voice increased by more than 13% from an already high base, moving them to second within the industry.
  • As well as securing greater coverage including V3 and Wired, The net positive sentiment of reporting around Atos was higher than any of their competitors.
  • An engagement strategy around Olympic activity, including on-site demonstration events, interviews and profile building with senior executives and thought leadership through Atos’ Ascent reports.

Moving from 9th place to 4th place when ranked on positive coverage, independent auditing has also confirmed that Atos’s overall levels of media coverage has increased.
